Directions from the A11
Leave the A11 above Newmarket and take the A14 (signposted Bury St Edmunds), continue on the A14 until you reach Bury St Edmunds, taking the A143 (signposted Yarmouth). Follow this road for approximately 33 miles. You will come to a right hand turning signposted for Flixton and Homersfield – the B1062, turn into this road and continue straight on for approximately 2 miles until you enter Flixton. At the sweeping bend take the first turning right in to Church Road (if you see the Flixton Buck on your left you have gone too far!). Pass the village hall on your right. Just after the hall, take the road that leads off to the left, signposted St Peter’s brewery. After passing the church on the left, the Old Rectory is approximately 200 metres on the same side of the road. There is a sign. The Old Rectory is accessed via an unmade track- the turning into the track is quite sharp. Proceed to the top of the track and the Old Rectory is straight ahead of you.
Directions from the A12
Leave the A12 when it is signed for the A14, continue on the A14 (towards Needham Market) for 8 miles, and then join the A140 (towards Diss), after 16 miles, you should turn onto the A143 (signposted Yarmouth). Follow this road for approximately 11 miles. You will come to a right hand turning signposted for Flixton and Homersfield – the B1062, turn into this road and continue straight on for approximately 2 miles until you enter Flixton. From Norwich
Leave on the A146 towards Lowestoft, turn right on to B1332 signposted Bungay. Continue for approximately 13 miles, heading towards Bungay. You will then come to a roundabout - take the 3rd exit onto A143 and at the next roundabout take the first exit in to Broad Street and at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit into Trinity Street, proceed along this street and ignore the first turning on the right and bear right after about 200 metres. Go to the end of the road (past the library on your left) Turn left at the end of the road and continue until you see a right turning signposted Homersfield. Turn right here and head straight on for around 2.5 miles when you will enter Flixton.
