We are pleased to advise that following Government guidance we will be reopening the cottages and welcoming guests from April 12th. Because of the additional cleaning requirements, at present, we will be offering breaks with a minimum stay of 4 nights.

During our VisitEngland inspection in January 2020, we achieved 100% for the cleanliness of our cottages- we have worked hard during the Lockdown to enhance these as processes we are ensuring the cottage that you have booked will be cleaned and sanitised to the Covid Ready Guidelines from PASC UK, the AA and Visit England. We have produced a Risk Assessment that covers all aspects of our business and this can be seen on demand, or download it now.

Old Rectory Cottages is a great place to stay! Our cottages are set in 7 acres of grounds and are surrounded on three sides by farmland- a haven for wildlife. Dogs are welcome at no extra cost.

Guests staying during 2021 will benefit from our “no-quibble” refund arrangements in the event of a new lockdown or travel restrictions being imposed.

The Butler's Pantry

If you are looking for a very special stay then this is the cottage for you. A beautiful conversion has resulted in a large stylish comfortable courtyard apartment which delivers the "wow" factor. Furnished with individually selected pieces to give a bespoke and distinctive feeling and added luxury features which are sure to impress. The Butler’s Pantry is accessed via 13 steps into a Victorian brick courtyard.

Both the kitchen and the wet room have high sloping ceilings, giving the cottage the great feeling of spaciousness. Enjoy the luxury of the very large bedroom which has a super king bed made-up with soft linen, sumptuously furnished and with atmospheric lighting. Add a separate Lounge/Dining room and you can be sure the Butler’s Pantry offers a perfect sanctuary for couples.

Although the kitchen is fully equipped, if you’d rather take a break from the cooking, there is a great selection of country pubs/restaurants a short drive away.
